Top 10 Regencies/Cities in Indonesia with the Highest COVID-19 Hospital Bed Occupancy Rate (Sunday, September 25, 2022)

The Ministry of Health (Kemenkes) notes that at least two regencies/cities have a Bed Occupancy Ratio (BOR) above 60%. Nationally, the average BOR this week is 3.99 percent. This is a decrease compared to last week's figure of 4.16 percent, data as of Sunday, September 25, 2022.

The top five regencies/cities with the highest COVID-19 BOR, exceeding 33.33 percent, are Gorontalo, Fakfak, East Manggarai, North Musi Rawas, and Balangan, with values of 100 percent, 100 percent, 37.5 percent, 35.71 percent, and 33.33 percent respectively.

A national COVID-19 data recapitulation from the Ministry of Health shows that the BOR in most regencies/cities outside Java has decreased. A daily BOR higher than the previous day was recorded in 57 regencies/cities, while 69 regencies/cities recorded a lower BOR.

Areas outside Java with the highest BOR include Gorontalo, Fakfak, and East Manggarai, with BORs of 100 percent, 100 percent, and 37.5 percent respectively.

Although COVID-19 transmission has decreased in some areas, the government urges everyone to help reduce COVID-19 transmission by consistently wearing masks, maintaining physical distance, and frequently washing hands with soap and running water. Avoiding crowds and reducing mobility also contribute to suppressing the spread of the coronavirus.
