The Average Years of Schooling for Residents of Bone Regency Remains Below the National Average

The average years of schooling (AYS) for residents aged 25 and over in Bone, South Sulawesi, was 7.54 years in 2023.

According to data from the Central Statistics Agency (BPS), the AYS for residents in this region is below the average for South Sulawesi Province, which was 8.76 years in 2023.

The AYS for Bone residents increased by 0.18 years (2.45%) compared to the previous year, which was 7.36 years. Meanwhile, over the past five years, the AYS has increased by 0.57 years (8.18%).
