The Ministry of Health (Kemenkes) noted that at least three regencies/cities have a weekly BOR above 60%. Nationally, the average BOR this week is 4.99 percent. This average is up from last week's 4.26 percent, based on data from Tuesday, October 25, 2022.
The top five regencies/cities with COVID-19 BOR exceeding 47.62 percent are Fakfak, Majene, East Belitung, Takalar, and Toli-Toli, with values of 100 percent, 80.36 percent, 71.43 percent, 50.63 percent, and 47.62 percent respectively.
A national COVID-19 data recapitulation from the Ministry of Health shows an increase in the BOR of most regencies/cities outside Java. A daily BOR higher than before was recorded in 86 regencies/cities, while 67 regencies/cities recorded a lower BOR.
Areas outside Java with the highest BOR include Fakfak, Majene, and East Belitung, with BORs of 100 percent, 80.36 percent, and 71.43 percent respectively.
Although COVID-19 transmission has decreased in some areas, the government urges everyone to help reduce COVID-19 transmission by consistently wearing masks, maintaining physical distance, and frequently washing hands with soap and running water. Avoiding crowds and reducing mobility also contribute to suppressing the spread of the coronavirus.
