Indonesia's Active COVID-19 Cases Ranked 4th in Southeast Asia

Active Covid-19 cases in Indonesia were recorded at 115,275 as of Friday, February 4, 2022. This number places Indonesia's coronavirus infection cases fourth in Southeast Asia.

Indonesia is flanked by Laos and Thailand with active cases of 127,083 and 84,410, respectively.

Meanwhile, Vietnam holds the top position for the highest number of active Covid-19 cases in Southeast Asia with 172,085. The Philippines is in second place with 153,335 active Covid-19 cases.

Malaysia has 61,426 active Covid-19 cases. Meanwhile, active coronavirus infection cases in Singapore, Myanmar, Cambodia, Brunei Darussalam, and Timor Leste are 18,382, 932, 649, 600, and 268, respectively.

Amidst the spread of the Omicron variant, the public must not be complacent and must continue to strive to prevent the transmission of the coronavirus by implementing the Covid-19 health protocols (3M).

Health protocols can be implemented by wearing masks, maintaining distance, and washing hands with soap. In addition, the public is urged to reduce mobility and avoid crowds.
