Chelsea has completed the transfer of Moises Caicedo from Brighton to Stamford Bridge for a fantastic transfer fee.

Initially, Caicedo was rumored to be joining Liverpool. However, Chelsea ultimately secured the deal.

The 21-year-old footballer has signed an eight-year contract with *The Blues*, with an option for a further year.

According to Transfermarkt, Chelsea acquired Caicedo for a transfer fee of EUR 116 million. This makes him one of the most expensive signings in *The Blues'* history.
