The number of people under coronavirus monitoring in Jakarta is nearly 1,000.

Jakarta, the capital city of Indonesia, has the highest number of confirmed and suspected positive cases of the coronavirus (COVID-19) in the country. Based on data released by the Jakarta Provincial Government, as of March 19th, there are 976 people under observation (ODP) and 480 patients under surveillance (PDP). 208 cases have been confirmed positive for COVID-19.

More than half, or 640, of the total ODP have completed observation. The remaining 336 are still under observation. The proportion is reversed for PDP. Of the 480 PDP, 290 patients, or 60%, are still hospitalized. The remaining 190 have been discharged and declared healthy.

Senayan sub-district, South Jakarta, has recorded seven positive cases. This makes Senayan the area with the highest number of cases in Jakarta.
