The Ministry of Health (Kemenkes) recorded that 300 regencies/cities have complete vaccination coverage above the national average, which is currently recorded at 67.02 percent as of Thursday, November 24, 2022.
The top five regencies/cities with complete vaccination rates exceeding 129 percent are Yogyakarta City, Central Jakarta City, Denpasar City, South Jakarta City, and Magelang City, with values of 196.32 percent, 185.29 percent, 141.01 percent, 139.72 percent, and 129 percent respectively.
A recapitulation of national Covid data from the Ministry of Health shows an increase in complete vaccination coverage in most regencies/cities outside Java. A daily increase in complete vaccination rates, higher than previous figures, was recorded in 387 regencies/cities.
Some of the areas outside Java with the highest complete vaccination rates include Denpasar City, Padang Panjang City, and Badung Regency, with complete vaccination rates of 141.01 percent, 118.99 percent, and 111.9 percent respectively.
Although Covid-19 transmission has decreased in some areas, the government urges everyone to help reduce Covid-19 transmission by always wearing masks, maintaining distance, and frequently washing hands with soap and running water. Avoiding crowds and reducing mobility also contribute to suppressing the spread of the coronavirus.
