Top 10 Regencies/Cities with the Highest National Elderly Vaccination Rates (Thursday, November 24, 2022)

The Ministry of Health (Kemenkes) recorded that 281 regencies/cities have elderly vaccination coverage based on KTP identity above the national average, currently recorded at 59.84 percent as of Thursday, November 24, 2022.

The top five regencies/cities with elderly vaccination rates exceeding 109.2 percent are Solok City, Garut, Aceh Singkil, Cirebon, and Tebing Tinggi City, with respective values of 123.37 percent, 120.05 percent, 115.59 percent, 112.99 percent, and 109.2 percent.

The national Covid-19 data recapitulation from the Ministry of Health shows an increase in elderly vaccination in most regencies/cities outside Java. An increase in daily elderly vaccination rates compared to previous days was recorded in 85 regencies/cities.

Areas outside Java with the highest elderly vaccination rates include Solok City, Aceh Singkil, and Tebing Tinggi City, with elderly vaccination rates of 123.37 percent, 115.59 percent, and 109.2 percent, respectively.

Although Covid-19 transmission has decreased in some areas, the government urges everyone to help reduce Covid-19 transmission by always wearing masks, maintaining distance, and frequently washing hands with soap and running water. Avoiding crowds and reducing mobility also contribute to suppressing the spread of the coronavirus.
