The Ministry of Health (Kemenkes) recorded 86 regencies/cities with weekly agglomeration tracing above the national average, currently recorded at 1.94 percent as of Wednesday, December 28, 2022.
The top five regencies/cities with figures exceeding 19.04 percent are Metro City, Bima, West Lombok, Ciamis, and Mojokerto, with values of 24.25 percent, 22 percent, 21.6 percent, 20 percent, and 19.04 percent respectively.
A recapitulation of national Covid data from the Ministry of Health shows an increase in tracing in most regencies/cities outside Java. Daily tracing figures higher than before were recorded in 11 regencies/cities, while nine regencies/cities recorded lower tracing.
Areas outside Java with the highest tracing values include Metro City, Bima, and West Lombok, with tracing figures of 24.25 percent, 22 percent, and 21.6 percent respectively.
Although Covid-19 transmission has decreased in some areas, the government urges everyone to help reduce Covid-19 transmission by always wearing masks, maintaining distance, and frequently washing hands with soap and running water. Avoiding crowds and reducing mobility also contribute to suppressing the spread of the coronavirus.
