The United States ranks first, with a weekly growth of 1.04 percent in Omicron cases. GISAID recorded 1.94 million Omicron cases in the country. Daily cases in this region increased by 0.01 percent compared to the previous day.
The United Kingdom follows, with a weekly growth of 0.21 percent in Omicron cases. Daily Omicron cases in the UK increased by 0.05 percent compared to the previous day, totaling 1.34 million.
Next is Denmark, with 323,800 Omicron cases (up 0.78%). France saw a 0.46 percent increase in Omicron cases, reaching 304,740, compared to the previous week. Japan experienced a 2.88 percent increase, reaching 280,080 cases compared to the previous week.
In Indonesia, the number of Omicron cases reached 28,182, a 0.36 percent increase compared to the previous day. Since its first detection, Omicron cases in Indonesia have continued to rise.
