The Ministry of Health (Kemenkes) recorded 317 regencies/cities with complete vaccination coverage based on ID cards above the national average, currently recorded at 74 percent as of Friday, July 15, 2022.
The top five regencies/cities with complete vaccination rates exceeding 106.76 percent are Samosir (130.77 percent), Humbang Hasundutan (112.71 percent), West Nias (110.21 percent), Surakarta City (106.85 percent), and Karangasem (106.76 percent).
A national Covid-19 data recapitulation from the Ministry of Health shows an increase in complete vaccination coverage in most regencies/cities outside Java. A daily increase in complete vaccination rates compared to the previous day was recorded in 352 regencies/cities, while one regency/city recorded a lower complete vaccination rate.
Some of the regions outside Java with the highest complete vaccination rates include Samosir (130.77 percent), Humbang Hasundutan (112.71 percent), and West Nias (110.21 percent).
Although Covid-19 transmission has decreased in some areas, the government urges everyone to help reduce Covid-19 transmission by consistently wearing masks, maintaining physical distance, and frequently washing hands with soap and running water. Avoiding crowds and reducing mobility also contribute to suppressing the spread of the coronavirus.
