The Indonesian government has officially designated national holidays and joint leave days for 2023. This was formalized through a Joint Decree (SKB) issued by the Minister of Religion, the Minister of Manpower, and the Minister of Administrative and Bureaucratic Reform, numbered 1066/2022, 03/2022, respectively, concerning National Holidays and Joint Leave Days for 2023.
The SKB was signed on Tuesday (11/10) and replaces the previous 3-Minister SKB Number 375 of 2022, Number 1 of 2022, and Number 1 of 2022.
Coordinating Minister for Human Development and Culture (PMK), Muhadjir Effendy, stated that there will be 16 national holidays in 2023, and 8 joint leave days.
"Therefore, the total (holidays) amount to 24 days," said Muhadjir, as quoted by *Katadata.co.id*, Tuesday (11/10).

* February 18th (Saturday): Isra Mi'raj of Prophet Muhammad SAW
* March 22nd (Wednesday): Nyepi Day, Saka New Year 1945
* April 7th (Friday): Wafat Isa Almasih (Death of Jesus Christ)
* April 22nd-23rd (Saturday-Sunday): Eid al-Fitr 1444 H
* May 1st (Monday): International Labor Day
* May 18th (Thursday): Ascension of Jesus Christ
* June 1st (Thursday): Pancasila Day
* June 4th (Sunday): Waisak Day 2567 BE
