The Ministry of Health (Kemenkes) noted that at least one regency/city has a weekly BOR above 60%. Nationally, the average BOR this week is 2.63 percent. This average is higher than last week's 1.6 percent, based on data from Friday, July 29, 2022.
The top five regencies/cities with Covid-19 BOR above 26.92 percent are Fakfak, Manggarai Timur, Banjarbaru City, Payakumbuh City, and Balangan, with values of 100 percent, 37.5 percent, 33.18 percent, 29.37 percent, and 26.92 percent respectively.
A recapitulation of national Covid data from the Ministry of Health shows an increase in the BOR of most regencies/cities outside Java. A daily BOR higher than before was recorded in 100 regencies/cities, while 32 regencies/cities recorded a lower BOR.
Areas outside Java with the highest BOR include Fakfak, Manggarai Timur, and Banjarbaru City, with BORs of 100 percent, 37.5 percent, and 33.18 percent respectively.
Although Covid-19 transmission has decreased in some areas, the government urges everyone to help reduce Covid-19 transmission by always wearing masks, maintaining distance, and frequently washing hands with soap and running water. Avoiding crowds and reducing mobility also contribute to suppressing the spread of the coronavirus.
