The Ministry of Health (Kemenkes) recorded 125 districts/cities with a seven-day aglomeration positivity rate above the national average, currently recorded at 1.71 percent (data as of Friday, March 24, 2023).
The top five districts/cities with a seven-day positivity rate exceeding 33.33 percent are Mamberamo Tengah (50 percent), Morowali (45.45 percent), Toli Toli (37.5 percent), Purworejo (35.29 percent), and Buol (33.33 percent).
A recapitulation of national Covid-19 data from the Ministry of Health shows that the seven-day positivity rate in most districts/cities outside Java has decreased. A daily seven-day positivity rate higher than the previous day was recorded in 42 districts/cities, while 43 districts/cities recorded a lower seven-day positivity rate.
Some of the areas outside Java with the highest seven-day positivity rates include Mamberamo Tengah (50 percent), Morowali (45.45 percent), and Toli Toli (37.5 percent).
Although Covid-19 transmission has decreased in some areas, the government urges everyone to help reduce Covid-19 transmission by consistently wearing masks, maintaining physical distance, and frequently washing hands with soap and running water. Avoiding crowds and reducing mobility also contribute to suppressing the spread of the coronavirus.
