The average expenditure of people in Kudus Regency to buy soy sauce in 2023 was Rp690.55 per capita per week. This figure soared compared to the previous year's expenditure, which was recorded at Rp634.91 per capita per week.

The five largest expenditures of residents for the group of spices in Kudus Regency, from the highest order spent on soy sauce Rp690.55 per capita per week, cooking seasoning/MSG Rp454.57 per capita per week, shrimp paste/petis Rp385.73 per capita per week, candlenut Rp321.06 per capita per week, and the lowest spent on tamarind Rp40.35 per capita per week.

Average per capita expenditure is the cost incurred for the consumption of all household members for a month, whether from purchases, gifts, or self-production, divided by the number of household members in that household.
