The Ministry of Health (Kemenkes) recorded 123 districts/cities with a weekly BOR above the national average, currently recorded at 1.7 percent (data as of Tuesday, July 19, 2022).
The top five districts/cities with the highest COVID-19 BOR, exceeding 18.11 percent, are Manggarai Timur (37.5 percent), Balangan (23.08 percent), Musi Rawas Utara (21.43 percent), Banjar (20.94 percent), and Payakumbuh City (18.11 percent).
A national COVID-19 data recapitulation from the Ministry of Health shows an increase in the BOR of most districts/cities outside Java. Sixty districts/cities recorded a higher daily BOR than before, while 29 districts/cities recorded a lower BOR.
Some of the areas outside Java with the highest BOR include Manggarai Timur (37.5 percent), Balangan (23.08 percent), and Musi Rawas Utara (21.43 percent).
Although COVID-19 transmission has decreased in some areas, the government urges everyone to help reduce COVID-19 transmission by consistently wearing masks, maintaining physical distance, and frequently washing hands with soap and running water. Avoiding crowds and reducing mobility also contribute to suppressing the spread of the coronavirus.
