The Ministry of Health (Kemenkes) recorded 206 districts/cities with a seven-day aglomeration positivity rate above the national average, currently recorded at 11.07 percent (data as of Tuesday, November 29, 2022).
The top five districts/cities with a seven-day positivity rate exceeding 46.15 percent are Gayo Lues, Tana Tidung, Minahasa Selatan, Malinau, and Boven Digoel, with values of 64.29 percent, 57.14 percent, 50 percent, 48 percent, and 46.15 percent, respectively.
A national Covid-19 data recapitulation from the Ministry of Health shows that the seven-day positivity rate in most districts/cities outside Java has decreased. A daily seven-day positivity rate higher than the previous day was recorded in 96 districts/cities, while 226 districts/cities recorded a lower seven-day positivity rate.
Areas outside Java with the highest seven-day positivity rates include Gayo Lues, Tana Tidung, and Minahasa Selatan, with seven-day positivity rates of 64.29 percent, 57.14 percent, and 50 percent, respectively.
Although Covid-19 transmission has decreased in some areas, the government urges everyone to help reduce Covid-19 transmission by consistently wearing masks, maintaining physical distance, and frequently washing hands with soap and running water. Avoiding crowds and reducing mobility also contribute to suppressing the spread of the coronavirus.
