The top five districts/cities with confirmed positive cases exceeding 22.76 per 100,000 population/week are Balikpapan City, Bogor City, Tangerang City, Depok City, and Bogor Regency, each with values of 55.88 per 100,000 population/week, 22.76 per 100,000 population/week, 22.76 per 100,000 population/week, 22.76 per 100,000 population/week, and 22.76 per 100,000 population/week, respectively.
A recapitulation of national COVID-19 data from the Ministry of Health shows an increase in confirmed positive cases in most districts/cities outside Java. A higher than previous daily confirmed positive case count was recorded in 116 districts/cities, while 45 districts/cities recorded lower confirmed positive cases.
Areas outside Java with the highest confirmed positive case rates include Balikpapan City, North Toraja Regency, and Belu Regency, with confirmed positive cases of 55.88 per 100,000 population/week, 22.17 per 100,000 population/week, and 21.33 per 100,000 population/week, respectively.
Although COVID-19 transmission has decreased in some areas, the government urges everyone to help reduce COVID-19 transmission by consistently wearing masks, maintaining physical distance, and frequently washing hands with soap and running water. Avoiding crowds and reducing mobility also contribute to suppressing the spread of the coronavirus.
