The Ministry of Health (Kemenkes) noted that at least one regency/city has a Bed Occupancy Ratio (BOR) above 60%. Nationally, the average BOR this week is 9.09 percent. This is an increase compared to last week's 8.25 percent, based on data from Sunday, November 20, 2022.
The top five regencies/cities with the highest COVID-19 BOR, exceeding 49.64 percent, are Fakfak, Kutai Barat, Tabalong, Batang, and Muna, with values of 100 percent, 58.06 percent, 52.79 percent, 51.61 percent, and 49.64 percent respectively.
A national COVID-19 data recapitulation from the Ministry of Health shows an increase in the BOR in most regencies/cities outside of Java. A daily BOR higher than the previous day was recorded in 84 regencies/cities, while 81 regencies/cities recorded a lower BOR.
Areas outside Java with the highest BOR include Fakfak, Kutai Barat, and Tabalong, with BORs of 100 percent, 58.06 percent, and 52.79 percent respectively.
Although COVID-19 transmission has decreased in some areas, the government urges everyone to help reduce COVID-19 transmission by consistently wearing masks, maintaining physical distance, and frequently washing hands with soap and running water. Avoiding crowds and reducing mobility also contribute to suppressing the spread of the coronavirus.
