Top 10 Regencies/Cities with the Highest National COVID-19 Vaccination Completion Rates (Sunday, October 9, 2022)

The Ministry of Health (Kemenkes) recorded 297 districts/cities with complete vaccination coverage above the national average, currently recorded at 66.61 percent (data as of Sunday, October 9, 2022).

The top five districts/cities with complete vaccination rates exceeding 128.82 percent are Yogyakarta City (196.05 percent), Central Jakarta City (184.66 percent), Denpasar City (140.69 percent), South Jakarta City (139.29 percent), and Magelang City (128.82 percent).

A recapitulation of national Covid-19 data from the Ministry of Health shows an increase in complete vaccination coverage in most districts/cities outside Java. A daily increase in complete vaccination rates was recorded in 79 districts/cities.

Areas outside Java with the highest complete vaccination rates include Denpasar City (140.69 percent), Padang Panjang City (118.61 percent), and Badung Regency (111.67 percent).

Although Covid-19 transmission has decreased in some areas, the government urges everyone to help reduce Covid-19 transmission by consistently wearing masks, maintaining physical distance, and frequently washing hands with soap and running water. Avoiding crowds and reducing mobility also contribute to suppressing the spread of the coronavirus.
