According to a Kompas Research and Development survey, public satisfaction with the government's performance in improving the quality of education increased in January 2022. Public satisfaction reached 72.2% in January 2022, 8.5 percentage points higher than the previous survey in October 2021, which was 63.7%.

Based on educational background, the most satisfied group was those with higher education, reaching 62.8%. Meanwhile, those with lower education levels showed a satisfaction rate of 61.4%.

From an economic background perspective, the public from the upper economic class showed the highest satisfaction with the government's performance in improving the quality of education, reaching 78.6%.

Meanwhile, the lowest satisfaction level came from the upper-middle economic class, at 55.3%.

This survey was conducted through face-to-face interviews from January 17-30, 2022. A total of 1,200 respondents were randomly selected using a stratified systematic sampling method across 34 provinces.
