The Covid-19 Task Force recorded an increase in weekly Covid-19 cases in 20 provinces between September 21-27, 2020, compared to the previous week. These provinces are: West Java (1,726), Jakarta (1,002), East Kalimantan (584), West Sumatra (573), Central Java (338), Riau Islands (303), Southeast Sulawesi (265), Bali (263), Papua (136), South Sumatra (123), Banten (123), West Papua (86), West Sulawesi (79), North Kalimantan (60), Bengkulu (39), Maluku (29), Gorontalo (16), South Kalimantan (9), Central Sulawesi (6), and East Nusa Tenggara (2).
Fourteen provinces recorded a decrease in weekly cases, including North Maluku (-1), North Sulawesi (-2), Bangka Belitung (-2), East Nusa Tenggara (-3), Jambi (-5), Yogyakarta (-7), Riau (-15), West Kalimantan (-23), Central Kalimantan (-57), Lampung (-60), South Sulawesi (-123), Aceh (-205), North Sumatra (-233), and East Java (-445).
To prevent the spread of Covid-19, the government urges the public to diligently wear masks, maintain physical distancing, and wash their hands, or implement the #Gerakan3M (3M Movement). These three are the best vaccines for now.
