The Ministry of Health (Kemenkes) notes that at least two regencies/cities have a Bed Occupancy Ratio (BOR) above 60%. Nationally, the average BOR this week is 7.62 percent. This is an increase compared to last week's figure of 6.12 percent (data as of Monday, November 7, 2022).
The top five regencies/cities with COVID-19 BOR exceeding 55.36 percent are Fakfak, Soppeng, Tasikmalaya, East Belitung, and Majene, with values of 100 percent, 66.9 percent, 57.14 percent, 57.14 percent, and 55.36 percent respectively.
A national COVID-19 data recapitulation from the Ministry of Health shows an increase in the BOR in most regencies/cities outside Java. A daily BOR higher than the previous day was recorded in 109 regencies/cities, while 48 regencies/cities recorded a lower BOR.
Areas outside Java with the highest BOR include Fakfak, Soppeng, and East Belitung, with BORs of 100 percent, 66.9 percent, and 57.14 percent respectively.
Although COVID-19 transmission has decreased in some areas, the government urges everyone to help reduce COVID-19 transmission by consistently wearing masks, maintaining physical distance, and frequently washing hands with soap and running water. Avoiding crowds and reducing mobility also contribute to suppressing the spread of the coronavirus.
