The service burden of the National Health Insurance (JKN) program managed by BPJS Kesehatan continues to increase, along with the growing number of participants.

According to data from the Ministry of Health, in 2014, the total service burden of JKN was around Rp42.7 trillion.

"This year, we have addressed this by providing an additional Rp20 trillion, Rp10 trillion through the Ministry of Health, and Rp10 trillion directly to BPJS. But there needs to be more structural solutions, otherwise the gap will continue to widen over time," said Budi.
