According to the report from the Central Statistics Agency (BPS), the occupancy rate (TPK) of star hotels in Indonesia reached 56.12% in December 2025. This achievement is the highest in the past year, as shown in the chart.

Deputy Head of Distribution and Services Statistics at BPS, Ateng Hartono, stated that the highest TPK of star hotels in December 2025 was achieved by D.I Yogyakarta, with 66.38%.

Meanwhile, the lowest TPK of star hotels was in Aceh, which was only 27.53%. It was followed by West Sulawesi with 30.90% and Bangka Belitung Islands with 31.28%.

The average length of stay for star hotel guests in Indonesia in December 2025 reached 1.58 nights.

When viewed by nationality, foreign guests stayed an average of 2.65 nights, while domestic guests stayed an average of 1.46 nights.
