70 Million People to Participate in CKG by 2025, Here Are Their Age Groups

The Ministry of Health (Kemenkes) reported that as of December 2025, 70 million Indonesian citizens participated in the Free Health Check (CKG) program.

Out of a total of 10,225 community health centers (puskesmas) across Indonesia, 99% have already implemented the program.

"Indeed, there are still some puskesmas that have not yet implemented it, especially in very remote areas," said Maria Endang Sumiwi, Director General of Primary and Community Health at the Ministry of Health, during an online press conference on Friday (January 23, 2026).

Based on age groups, CKG was most frequently carried out for newborns, accounting for 52% of the total target.

"This is because they are easily found at health facilities that provide delivery services," Maria explained.

Next is the 7-17 age group, with 41% of the set target achieved. This was conducted in 202,284 schools, madrasahs, and Islamic boarding schools.

Here are the complete CKG achievements by age group in 2025:

• Newborns: 2.3 million out of a target of 4.4 million participants (52%)
• School-age children and adolescents (7-17 years): 19.7 million out of 48 million participants (41%)
• Toddlers and pre-school age children (1-6 years): 2.7 million out of 27 million participants (10%)
• Adults (18-59 years): 31 million out of 170 million participants (18%)
• Elderly (above 60 years): 6 million out of 34 million participants (18%).
