The Ministry of Health (Kemenkes) noted that at least one regency/city has a Bed Occupancy Ratio (BOR) above 60%. Nationally, the average BOR this week is 3.98 percent. This average is higher than last week's 3.92 percent, based on data from Monday, October 3, 2022.
The top five regencies/cities with COVID-19 BOR exceeding 33.33 percent are Fakfak, Southwest Maluku, Majene, East Manggarai, and Gorontalo, with values of 100 percent, 59.52 percent, 57.14 percent, 37.5 percent, and 33.33 percent respectively.
A national COVID-19 data recapitulation from the Ministry of Health shows that the BOR in most regencies/cities outside Java has decreased. A daily BOR higher than the previous day was recorded in 71 regencies/cities, while 78 regencies/cities recorded a lower BOR.
Areas outside Java with the highest BOR include Fakfak, Southwest Maluku, and Majene, with BORs of 100 percent, 59.52 percent, and 57.14 percent respectively.
Although COVID-19 transmission has decreased in some areas, the government urges everyone to help reduce COVID-19 transmission by consistently wearing masks, maintaining physical distance, and frequently washing hands with soap and running water. Avoiding crowds and reducing mobility also contribute to suppressing the spread of the coronavirus.
