According to a JakPat survey, 49% of Indonesian consumers surveyed like to order snacks via online food delivery apps. Of this group, the majority, or 50%, regularly order martabak, both sweet and savory. Then, 37% like to order Indonesian bread, such as toast, steamed bread, roti sisir, and so on. "Local snacks are the most popular items ordered online by all generations, especially martabak," JakPat wrote in its *Consumer Behavior in Online Food Delivery* report.

Other snacks frequently ordered online by respondents include Sundanese snacks like seblak, cilok, and others (36%); dim sum (32%); snacks with peanut sauce (31%); and donuts (25%). Meanwhile, sandwiches, Western snacks, ice cream, and Middle Eastern snacks have a lower proportion, as shown in the graph.

JakPat also found that the average price of snacks ordered by respondents was Rp56,838 per order. This includes delivery and additional fees.

This JakPat survey involved a total of 1,343 respondents, narrowed down to 659 respondents who like to order snacks online. Respondents were located in non-Jabodetabek Java (50%), Jabodetabek (32%), and outside Java (18%).

The survey was conducted online via the Jakpat application on March 13-14, 2025, with a margin of error below 5%.
