2024-2025 Retail Cigarette Price Increase

The Indonesian government will increase the retail price of cigarettes in 2025. This is stipulated in Minister of Finance Regulation (PMK) Number 97 of 2024.

The increase varies between 4% and 18% higher than this year, depending on the type of product.

Here are the details of the retail price limits for cigarettes, effective January 1, 2025, and the percentage increase compared to 2024 (year-on-year/yoy):

Machine-Made Clove Cigarettes (SKM)

* SKM Group I: minimum Rp2,375 per cigarette, up 5.09% (yoy)
* SKM Group II: minimum Rp1,485 per cigarette, up 7.61% (yoy)

Machine-Made White Cigarettes (SPM)

* SPM Group I: minimum Rp2,495 per cigarette, up 4.83% (yoy)
* SPM Group II: minimum Rp1,565 per cigarette, up 6.83% (yoy)

Hand-Rolled Clove/White Cigarettes (SKT/SPT)

* SKT/SPT Group I: minimum Rp1,555 per cigarette, up 13.09% (yoy)
* SKT/SPT Group II: minimum Rp995 per cigarette, up 15.03% (yoy)
* SKT/SPT Group III: minimum Rp860 per cigarette, up 18.62% (yoy)

Hand-Rolled Filtered Clove/White Cigarettes (SKTF/SPTF)

* SKTF/SPTF: minimum Rp2,375 per cigarette, up 5.09% (yoy)

Imported SKM

* SKTF/SPTF: minimum Rp2,375 per cigarette, up 5.09% (yoy)

Imported SPM

* SKTF/SPTF: minimum Rp2,495 per cigarette, up 4.83% (yoy)

Imported SKT/SPT

* SKTF/SPTF: minimum Rp2,171 per cigarette, up 9.59% (yoy)

Imported SKTF/SPTF

* SKTF/SPTF: minimum Rp2,375 per cigarette, up 5.09% (yoy)

The price limits for kelembak kemenyan (KLM), sliced tobacco (TIS), leaf/husk cigarettes (KLB), and cigars (CRT) will remain unchanged in 2025, remaining the same as this year.
