The Ministry of Health (Kemenkes) recorded 102 districts/cities with weekly agglomeration tracing above the national average, currently recorded at 2.23 percent as of Wednesday, December 21, 2022.
The top five districts/cities with tracing rates exceeding 20 percent are Tasikmalaya (24.5 percent), Cianjur (23 percent), Tanjung Pinang City (21 percent), Karimun (20 percent), and Pasuruan City (20 percent).
A recapitulation of national Covid-19 data from the Ministry of Health shows that tracing in most districts/cities outside Java has decreased. A higher than previous daily tracing rate was recorded in 11 districts/cities, while 17 districts/cities recorded lower tracing rates.
Areas outside Java with the highest tracing rates include Tanjung Pinang City (21 percent), Karimun (20 percent), and West Lombok (19 percent).
Although Covid-19 transmission has decreased in some areas, the government urges everyone to help reduce Covid-19 transmission by consistently wearing masks, maintaining physical distance, and frequently washing hands with soap and running water. Avoiding crowds and reducing mobility also contribute to suppressing the spread of the coronavirus.
