The Ministry of Health (Kemenkes) recorded 112 districts/cities with weekly tracing rates above the national average, currently recorded at 2.52 percent as of Wednesday, December 14, 2022.
The top five districts/cities with rates exceeding 20.61 percent are Metro City, West Lombok, Mojokerto City, Toba Samosir, and East Jakarta City, with values of 26.5 percent, 26.33 percent, 25 percent, 24.5 percent, and 20.61 percent respectively.
A national Covid-19 data recapitulation from the Ministry of Health shows that tracing in most districts/cities outside Java has decreased. A daily tracing rate higher than previous days was recorded in 16 districts/cities, while 21 districts/cities recorded lower tracing rates.
Areas outside Java with the highest tracing rates include Metro City, West Lombok, and Toba Samosir, with tracing rates of 26.5 percent, 26.33 percent, and 24.5 percent respectively.
Although Covid-19 transmission has decreased in some areas, the government urges everyone to help reduce Covid-19 transmission by consistently wearing masks, maintaining physical distance, and frequently washing hands with soap and running water. Avoiding crowds and reducing mobility also contribute to suppressing the spread of the coronavirus.
