The Ministry of Health (Kemenkes) recorded 133 regencies/cities with a seven-day aglomeration positivity rate above the national average, currently recorded at 0.62 percent (data as of Tuesday, June 28, 2022).
The top five regencies/cities with a seven-day positivity rate exceeding 7.09 percent are Bekasi City, Tangerang City, West Jakarta City, North Jakarta City, and Bogor City, each with a value of 7.09 percent.
A recapitulation of national Covid-19 data from the Ministry of Health shows an increase in the seven-day positivity rate in most regencies/cities outside Java. Sixty-eight regencies/cities recorded a higher seven-day positivity rate than previously, while 43 regencies/cities recorded a lower seven-day positivity rate.
Some of the areas outside Java with the highest seven-day positivity rates include Pulang Pisau, Teluk Bintuni, and Natuna, with seven-day positivity rates of 6.25 percent, 5.77 percent, and 4.35 percent, respectively.
Although Covid-19 transmission has decreased in some areas, the government urges everyone to help reduce Covid-19 transmission by consistently wearing masks, maintaining physical distance, and frequently washing hands with soap and running water. Avoiding crowds and reducing mobility also contribute to suppressing the spread of the coronavirus.
