The Ministry of Health (Kemenkes) notes that at least two regencies/cities have a weekly BOR above 60%. Nationally, the average BOR this week is 3.78 percent. This is down from four percent last week, according to data from Tuesday, September 27, 2022.
The top five regencies/cities with COVID-19 BOR exceeding 33.33 percent are Fakfak, Gorontalo, East Manggarai, North Musi Rawas, and Balangan, with values of 100 percent, 84.21 percent, 37.5 percent, 34.29 percent, and 33.33 percent respectively.
A national COVID-19 data recapitulation from the Ministry of Health shows that the BOR in most regencies/cities outside Java has decreased. A daily BOR higher than the previous day was recorded in 53 regencies/cities, while 84 regencies/cities recorded a lower BOR.
Areas outside Java with the highest BOR include Fakfak, Gorontalo, and East Manggarai, with BORs of 100 percent, 84.21 percent, and 37.5 percent respectively.
Although COVID-19 transmission has decreased in some areas, the government urges everyone to help reduce COVID-19 transmission by consistently wearing masks, maintaining distance, and frequently washing hands with soap and running water. Avoiding crowds and reducing mobility also contribute to suppressing the spread of the coronavirus.
