The Ministry of Health (Kemenkes) recorded 99 regencies/cities with weekly agglomeration tracing above the national average, currently recorded at 1.85 percent of data as of Sunday, October 9, 2022.
The top five regencies/cities with figures exceeding 19.54 percent are Tanjung Pinang City, Karimun, Ciamis, Semarang City, and Demak, with values of 26 percent, 20 percent, 20 percent, 19.54 percent, and 19.54 percent respectively.
A recapitulation of national Covid data from the Ministry of Health shows an increase in tracing in most regencies/cities outside Java. Daily tracing figures higher than before were recorded in 46 regencies/cities, while two regencies/cities recorded lower tracing.
Areas outside Java with the highest tracing values include Tanjung Pinang City, Karimun, and Kotawaringin Barat, with tracing rates of 26 percent, 20 percent, and 15 percent respectively.
Although Covid-19 transmission has decreased in some areas, the government urges everyone to help reduce Covid-19 transmission by consistently wearing masks, maintaining distance, and frequently washing hands with soap and running water. Avoiding crowds and reducing mobility also contribute to suppressing the spread of the coronavirus.
