The Ministry of Health (Kemenkes) recorded 128 regencies/cities with weekly agglomeration tracing above the national average, currently recorded at 2.79 percent as of Wednesday, November 2, 2022.
The top five regencies/cities with tracing rates exceeding 20 percent are Lombok Barat (27.37 percent), Pasuruan (20.58 percent), Tasikmalaya (20.25 percent), Aceh Selatan (20 percent), and Ciamis (20 percent).
A recapitulation of national Covid-19 data from the Ministry of Health shows that tracing in most regencies/cities outside Java has decreased. Daily tracing figures higher than previous days were recorded in 32 regencies/cities, while 34 regencies/cities recorded lower tracing figures.
Areas outside Java with the highest tracing rates include Lombok Barat (27.37 percent), Aceh Selatan (20 percent), and Bima City (20 percent).
Although Covid-19 transmission has decreased in some areas, the government urges everyone to help reduce Covid-19 transmission by consistently wearing masks, maintaining physical distance, and frequently washing hands with soap and running water. Avoiding crowds and reducing mobility also contribute to suppressing the spread of the coronavirus.
