The Covid-19 Task Force report shows that the total number of Covid-19 recoveries in Indonesia reached 6.2 million people by September 12, 2022. This is an increase of 3,465 people compared to the previous day.
Based on province, DKI Jakarta had the highest number of Covid-19 recoveries nationally on September 12, 2022, totaling 1.38 million people or 22.34%.
West Java had the next highest number of Covid-19 recoveries with 1.14 million people, followed by Central Java and East Java with 601,610 and 568,770 recoveries respectively.
Furthermore, Banten recorded 328,170 Covid-19 recoveries. Following this, East Kalimantan, Bali, North Sumatra, and Riau had 203,010, 161,610, 154,880, and 147,960 Covid-19 recoveries respectively.
Meanwhile, the lowest number of Covid-19 recoveries nationally was in Gorontalo, totaling only 13,430 people.
It should be noted that confirmed Covid-19 cases in Indonesia reached 6.39 million by September 12, 2022. This means that the number of Covid-19 recoveries in Indonesia reached 97.02% of the total national Covid-19 cases.
Although the number of Covid-19 recoveries in Indonesia is quite high, the public still needs to be vigilant against the spread of the coronavirus. This can be done by implementing the 3M health protocol, which consists of washing hands, wearing masks, and maintaining distance.
