The Ministry of Health (Kemenkes) recorded 78 regencies/cities with weekly tracing rates above the national average, currently recorded at 2.11 percent as of Wednesday, June 29, 2022.
The top five regencies/cities with rates exceeding 25 percent are Metro City, West Lombok, Lamongan, Semarang City, and Mojokerto City, with values of 92 percent, 50 percent, 26 percent, 25.88 percent, and 25 percent respectively.
A recapitulation of national Covid data from the Ministry of Health shows that tracing in most regencies/cities outside Java has decreased. A daily tracing rate higher than before was recorded in six regencies/cities, while seven regencies/cities recorded lower tracing rates.
Some of the areas outside Java with the highest tracing rates include Metro City, West Lombok, and Banda Aceh City, with tracing rates of 92 percent, 50 percent, and 20 percent respectively.
Although Covid-19 transmission has decreased in some areas, the government urges everyone to help reduce Covid-19 transmission by consistently wearing masks, maintaining physical distance, and frequently washing hands with soap and running water. Avoiding crowds and reducing mobility also contribute to suppressing the spread of the coronavirus.
