A national Covid data recapitulation from the Ministry of Health shows an increase in tracing in most regencies/cities outside Java. A daily tracing rate higher than previously recorded was noted in one regency/city.
Some of the areas outside Java with the highest tracing rates include Balikpapan City, Kampar, and Tarakan City, with tracing rates of 15 percent, 14 percent, and 2 percent, respectively.
Although Covid-19 transmission has decreased in some areas, the government urges everyone to help reduce Covid-19 transmission by consistently wearing masks, maintaining physical distance, and frequently washing hands with soap and running water. Avoiding crowds and reducing mobility also contribute to suppressing the spread of the coronavirus.
