The Ministry of Health (Kemenkes) recorded 123 districts/cities with weekly agglomeration tracing above the national average, currently recorded at 3.23 percent as of Tuesday, August 30, 2022.
The top five districts/cities with tracing rates exceeding 21.56 percent are Situbondo, Metro City, West Lombok, Simalungun, and Semarang, with values of 32 percent, 25.8 percent, 25 percent, 21.7 percent, and 21.56 percent respectively.
A recapitulation of national Covid data from the Ministry of Health shows that tracing in most districts/cities outside Java has decreased. Daily tracing figures higher than before were recorded in 25 districts/cities, while 33 districts/cities recorded lower tracing rates.
Some of the areas outside Java with the highest tracing values include Metro City, West Lombok, and Simalungun, with tracing rates of 25.8 percent, 25 percent, and 21.7 percent respectively.
Although Covid-19 transmission has decreased in some areas, the government urges everyone to help reduce Covid-19 transmission by consistently wearing masks, maintaining physical distance, and frequently washing hands with soap and running water. Avoiding crowds and reducing mobility also contribute to suppressing the spread of the coronavirus.
