The Ministry of Health (Kemenkes) recorded 132 regencies/cities with weekly agglomeration tracing above the national average, currently recorded at 2.7 percent as of Monday, October 24, 2022.
The top five regencies/cities with figures exceeding 20 percent are Lombok Barat (29 percent), Tasikmalaya (25.5 percent), Kuningan (22 percent), South Lampung (21.5 percent), and Simalungun (20 percent).
A recapitulation of national Covid data from the Ministry of Health shows an increase in tracing in most regencies/cities outside Java. Daily tracing figures higher than before were recorded in 29 regencies/cities, while 19 regencies/cities recorded lower tracing.
Areas outside Java with the highest tracing values include Lombok Barat (29 percent), South Lampung (21.5 percent), and Simalungun (20 percent).
Although Covid-19 transmission has decreased in some areas, the government urges everyone to help reduce Covid-19 transmission by always wearing masks, maintaining distance, and frequently washing hands with soap and running water. Avoiding crowds and reducing mobility also contribute to suppressing the rate of coronavirus transmission.
