Trading References: These Are the Types of Videos Often Made by Professional Marketers

There are various ways for marketers to market their products through marketing videos. Wyzowl research compiled the types of videos frequently created by professional marketers when selling products.

The most common marketing video created by marketers is social media video, chosen by 71% of respondents. Social media videos have strong characteristics, such as short duration and visually and audibly engaging content.

Second is the explainer video, chosen by 70% of respondents. Third, presentation videos, chosen by 50% of respondents.

Fourth, testimonial videos, chosen by 46% of respondents. With the same proportion in fifth place, professional marketers who were respondents also chose advertisement videos (ads).

Interestingly, marketers also highlight new users when introducing products. Testimonials from new users were chosen by 21% of respondents.

Does it rely solely on consumers to strengthen the product's impression?

Wyzowl notes that marketers also use videos of employees, including staff training (20% of respondents) and introducing new employees to the product (15%).

Wyzowl advises marketers that the most important thing is to use many types of videos, not to focus on just one type.

This marketing video research involved 528 respondents in November 2022. The sample consisted of professional marketers, companies, and online consumers from several countries. Wyzowl did not detail the respondents' demographics and research region.

"We separated this group with preliminary questions, ensuring that respondents were only asked to answer questions relevant to them," the team wrote.
