The Ministry of Health (Kemenkes) recorded 61 districts/cities with a weekly number of confirmed positive COVID-19 cases above the national average, currently recorded at 1.44 per 100,000 population/week, data as of Sunday, July 3, 2022.

A recapitulation of national COVID-19 data from the Ministry of Health shows that confirmed positive cases in most districts/cities outside Java have decreased. A higher than previous daily number of confirmed positive cases was recorded in 18 districts/cities, while 18 other districts/cities recorded lower confirmed positive cases.
Areas outside Java with the highest confirmed positive case rates include Badung (24.73 per 100,000 population/week), Teluk Bintuni (14.46 per 100,000 population/week), and Denpasar (11.99 per 100,000 population/week).
Although COVID-19 transmission has decreased in some areas, the government urges everyone to help reduce COVID-19 transmission by consistently wearing masks, maintaining physical distance, and frequently washing hands with soap and running water. Avoiding crowds and reducing mobility also contribute to suppressing the spread of the coronavirus.
