The Ministry of Health (Kemenkes) noted that at least one regency/city has a weekly BOR above 60%. Nationally, the average BOR this week is 8.03 percent. This average is higher than last week's 6.89 percent, based on data from Friday, November 11, 2022.
The top five regencies/cities with COVID-19 BOR exceeding 45.45 percent are Fakfak, Soppeng, Palembang City, Toli-Toli, and East Sumba, with values of 100 percent, 51.75 percent, 47.76 percent, 45.83 percent, and 45.45 percent respectively.
A national COVID-19 data recapitulation from the Ministry of Health shows an increase in the BOR of most regencies/cities outside Java. A daily BOR higher than before was recorded in 106 regencies/cities, while 56 regencies/cities recorded a lower BOR.
Areas outside Java with the highest BOR include Fakfak, Soppeng, and Palembang City, with BORs of 100 percent, 51.75 percent, and 47.76 percent respectively.
Although COVID-19 transmission has decreased in some areas, the government urges everyone to help reduce COVID-19 transmission by consistently wearing masks, maintaining physical distance, and frequently washing hands with soap and running water. Avoiding crowds and reducing mobility also contribute to suppressing the spread of the coronavirus.
