The Ministry of Health (Kemenkes) noted that at least two regencies/cities have a weekly BOR above 60%. Nationally, the average BOR this week is 7.86 percent. This average is higher than last week's 6.47 percent, based on data from Wednesday, November 9, 2022.
The top five regencies/cities with the highest COVID-19 BOR, exceeding 49.4 percent, are Fakfak, Soppeng, East Sumba, Majene, and Toli-Toli, with values of 100 percent, 60.42 percent, 50.68 percent, 50 percent, and 49.4 percent respectively.
A recapitulation of national COVID-19 data from the Ministry of Health shows an increase in the BOR in most regencies/cities outside Java. A daily BOR higher than the previous day was recorded in 107 regencies/cities, while 52 regencies/cities recorded a lower BOR.
Areas outside Java with the highest BOR include Fakfak, Soppeng, and East Sumba, with BORs of 100 percent, 60.42 percent, and 50.68 percent respectively.
Although COVID-19 transmission has decreased in some areas, the government urges everyone to help reduce COVID-19 transmission by consistently wearing masks, maintaining physical distance, and frequently washing hands with soap and running water. Avoiding crowds and reducing mobility also contribute to suppressing the spread of the coronavirus.
