Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) data shows that the total market capitalization in the Jakarta Composite Index (JCI) reached Rp2,807 trillion by the close of trading on Friday, May 31, 2024. This is down from the previous Rp2,832 trillion.
Bank Central Asia (BCA), with a market capitalization of Rp1,129 trillion, holds the largest market capitalization. This value, for the BBCA-coded issuer, comprises 9.55% of Indonesia's total stock market capitalization.
Barito Renewables Energy (BREN), owned by Indonesian tycoon Prajogo Pangestu, follows in second place with a value of Rp1,100 trillion or 9.31%. This renewable energy stock surged last week, leading to its suspension from the IDX.
Third, also from the energy sector, is Amman Mineral Internasional (AMMN) with a value of Rp876 trillion or 7.41%.
Meanwhile, another company owned by Prajogo Pangestu, Chandra Asri Pacific (TPIA), ranks fourth with a value of Rp794 trillion or 6.71%.
Fifth is Bank Rakyat Indonesia (BBRI) with Rp651 trillion or 5.51%. Generally, this top 10 list is filled with issuers from the banking, mining, and transportation sectors.
