The Ministry of Health (Kemenkes) recorded 142 districts/cities with a seven-day aglomeration positivity rate above the national average, currently recorded at 1.34 percent (data as of Saturday, July 23, 2022).
The top five districts/cities with a seven-day positivity rate exceeding 11.08 percent are Tegal City, Tangerang City, Central Jakarta City, Bogor City, and Depok City, with values of 11.98 percent, 11.08 percent, 11.08 percent, 11.08 percent, and 11.08 percent respectively.
A recapitulation of national Covid-19 data from the Ministry of Health shows that the seven-day positivity rate in most districts/cities outside Java has decreased. A daily seven-day positivity rate higher than the previous day was recorded in 92 districts/cities, while 97 districts/cities recorded a lower seven-day positivity rate.
Some of the areas outside Java with the highest seven-day positivity rates include Palangkaraya City, Banjar City, and Barito Timur Regency, with seven-day positivity rates of 9.05 percent, 8.64 percent, and 8.49 percent respectively.
Although Covid-19 transmission has decreased in some areas, the government urges everyone to help reduce Covid-19 transmission by consistently wearing masks, maintaining physical distance, and frequently washing hands with soap and running water. Avoiding crowds and reducing mobility also contribute to suppressing the spread of the coronavirus.
