Lebaran 2022 saw a resurgence in homecoming activities. According to a survey by the Indonesian Survey Institute (LSI), the majority of the public expressed satisfaction with the public facilities provided by the government to support the 2022 Lebaran homecoming and return flows.
In the LSI survey, rest areas were the facilities with the highest satisfaction rating from respondents.
A recorded 86% of respondents expressed satisfaction with rest area facilities. The breakdown shows 20% stated they were very satisfied, while 61% stated they were quite satisfied.
For restaurant facilities, 81% of respondents expressed satisfaction, and 79% were also satisfied with health facilities. Furthermore, 78% of respondents expressed satisfaction with bus terminals and airports.
Meanwhile, bathrooms and toilets had the lowest satisfaction rating. Although the majority, or 75% of respondents, were satisfied with these facilities, the percentage was lower than other facilities.
"Public assessment of the homecoming and return flow arrangements during this Lebaran is very positive," said Djayadi in a press conference presenting the LSI survey results on the evaluation of the 2022 Lebaran homecoming, Sunday (22/5/2022).
This survey was conducted from May 10-14, 2022, involving 1,273 respondents. Respondent criteria were aged 17 years and older or married, and owning a telephone/cell phone.
The sample was taken using the random digit dialing (RDD) method, or the process of randomly generating telephone numbers. Meanwhile, the margin of error for this survey is 2.8% with a 95% confidence level, assuming simple random sampling.
