The Ministry of Health (Kemenkes) recorded 126 regencies/cities with weekly tracing rates above the national average, currently recorded at 2.89 percent as of Saturday, November 26, 2022.
The top five regencies/cities with tracing rates exceeding 23 percent are Mojokerto City, West Lombok, Metro City, Semarang City, and Tasikmalaya, with values of 24.92 percent, 24.53 percent, 24.38 percent, 23.82 percent, and 23 percent respectively.
A national Covid-19 data recapitulation from the Ministry of Health shows a decrease in tracing rates in most regencies/cities outside Java. Daily tracing rates higher than previous days were recorded in 29 regencies/cities, while 34 regencies/cities recorded lower tracing rates.
Areas outside Java with the highest tracing rates include West Lombok, Metro City, and Balikpapan City, with tracing rates of 24.53 percent, 24.38 percent, and 20.67 percent respectively.
Although Covid-19 transmission has decreased in some areas, the government urges everyone to help reduce Covid-19 transmission by consistently wearing masks, maintaining physical distance, and frequently washing hands with soap and running water. Avoiding crowds and reducing mobility also contribute to suppressing the spread of the coronavirus.
