The Ministry of Health (Kemenkes) notes that at least one regency/city has a weekly BOR above 60%. Nationally, the average BOR this week is 1.46 percent. This average is down from last week's 1.55 percent, based on data from Wednesday, July 6, 2022.
The top five regencies/cities with the highest COVID-19 BOR, exceeding 13.64 percent, are Fakfak (100 percent), Manggarai Timur (37.5 percent), Balangan (23.08 percent), North Halmahera (16.4 percent), and Bima City (13.64 percent).
A national COVID-19 data recapitulation from the Ministry of Health shows that the BOR in most regencies/cities outside Java has decreased. Forty regencies/cities recorded a higher daily BOR than before, while 44 regencies/cities recorded a lower BOR.
Areas outside Java with the highest BOR include Fakfak (100 percent), Manggarai Timur (37.5 percent), and Balangan (23.08 percent).
Although COVID-19 transmission has decreased in some areas, the government urges everyone to help reduce COVID-19 transmission by consistently wearing masks, maintaining distance, and frequently washing hands with soap and running water. Avoiding crowds and reducing mobility also contribute to suppressing the spread of the coronavirus.
