The Ministry of Health (Kemenkes) recorded 135 districts/cities with weekly agglomeration tracing above the national average, currently recorded at 2.93 percent as of Wednesday, October 26, 2022.
The top five districts/cities with figures exceeding 20.2 percent are Lampung Selatan, Lombok Barat, Tasikmalaya, Simalungun, and Pasuruan City, with values of 26 percent, 26 percent, 23.64 percent, 21 percent, and 20.2 percent respectively.
A recapitulation of national Covid data from the Ministry of Health shows an increase in tracing in most districts/cities outside Java. Daily tracing figures higher than before were recorded in 31 districts/cities, while 29 districts/cities recorded lower tracing.
Areas outside Java with the highest tracing values include Lampung Selatan, Lombok Barat, and Simalungun, with tracing rates of 26 percent, 26 percent, and 21 percent respectively.
Although Covid-19 transmission has decreased in some areas, the government urges everyone to help reduce Covid-19 transmission by consistently wearing masks, maintaining physical distance, and frequently washing hands with soap and running water. Avoiding crowds and reducing mobility also contribute to suppressing the spread of the coronavirus.
